Support for Biological Parents

My work with biological parents, also referred to as birth, first or natural parents, begins by providing a safe space for you to share your story.

  • Have you been told you were brave or made a selfless decision but you feel broken and alone with your experience?

  • Do you ever feel like no one understands your pain because disenfranchised grief isn’t openly acknowledged or socially supported?

  • Do you long to know the child you lost to adoption but afraid to reach out?

  • Are you struggling with the complexity that comes along with reunion?

My work with Concerned United Birthparents and Saving Our Sisters as well as 1:1 therapy with many mothers who have lost children to adoption has allowed me to witness the profound impact separation has on biological mothers, fathers and other family members as well. I invite you to work with me. I will walk with you on your journey, provide unconditional support and offer you tools for healing.

You are not alone.

Brainspotting therapy allowed me to process my grief and loss in a whole new way. I am filled with hope. Thank you Lesli.
